Entry Requirements

Bachelor Degree or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (must not be a Bachelor Degree in the field of Nursing)

Prerequisites: University Level 1 Human Biology/Anatomy studies or equivalent

Additional Entry Requirements: A pre-requisite of entry into the Master of Clinical Nursing program is the successful completion of a Human Biology/Anatomy (Level 1) University course. Applicants who have not previously completed a program of studies that included human anatomy or biology will be required to complete an equivalent course prior to consideration of any application for entry.

IELTS: Overall band score of 7.0 and Band score of 7.0 in all bands; TOEFL total score of 94 with a minimum of 27 in Writing, 23 in Speaking and 24 in Reading and Listening; Pearson Test of English (Academic) overall score of 65 and Skills profile of 65 in Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening; and Cambridge English-Advanced (CAE): Overall score of 185 and Individual score of 185 in Writing and Speaking, Reading and Listening.

Degree Structure

The Master of Clinical Nursing is structured over two years of full-time study to provide in-depth theory and clinical placements in hospital and community settings.

The first year provides foundational, theoretical and professional concepts, and fundamental knowledge and skills of nursing practice. Contemporary nursing care is introduced in a variety of health care contexts. The second year of the degree advances professional and contemporary knowledge and skills moving to more complex health problems.
